In Kooperation mit der FernUniversität in Hagen und der Initiative CampusSource ist im Februar dieses Jahres ein neues elektronisches e-learning Journal an den Start gegangen. Das Journal eleed "e-learning and education" ist im Februar 2005 zum ersten Mal erschienen und bietet eine Plattform für neue wissenschaftliche Forschungsergebnisse aus dem weitgefächerten Gebiet des E-Learnings. Die Aufsätze sind im Internet frei zugänglich (open access) und einem Reviewing-Prozess unterzogen, um eine hohe wissenschaftliche Qualität sicherzustellen. Dennoch wird die Aktualität gewahrt bleiben, da jeder Beitrag nach abgeschlossener Begutachtung unmittelbar veröffentlicht wird. Im Rahmen der NRW-Initiative "Digital Peer Publishing", wird das Journal durch das Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen gefördert.
